Our vacation to Florida: 4th day DisneyWorld!

So, it's the big day...we went to bed nice and early the night before after having a very nice dinner with Grammy Barbara and Don...forgot to take pictures...Aubrey was really fussy through dinner and I didn't have a free hand for my camera...tooth #7 came out and caused quite some pain!

We headed out fairly early to go to Disney, after quickly stopping to check in at our hotel we took the shuttle over to the Magic Kingdom...I think we could have just ridden the shuttle all day, Sam thought it was so much fun...but then again he was pretty excited for the whole day! It was a long and tiring day but it was worth it. I took tons of pictures as you can see!

Our vacation to Florida: 3rd day

So the big highlight of our 3rd day of vacation, Sunday, was that Sam got to go for a ride on PePere's boat!! He's been talking about this for weeks and was just thrilled to finally go. It was just the boys for this boat ride...I can't do boats, I get motion sick too easy and Aubrey was due for a nap. I did enjoy some time relaxing in the sun though!

So, for dinner PePere saw in the paper that the local fire station was having a fundraiser dinner with activities for kids so we decided to go there. They were hoisting little ones up in a harness and Sam wanted to do it, he was so excited...until they put the harness on and he freaked out and changed his mind, poor guy...he tried!

Our vacation to Florida: 2nd day

Our second day in Florida we tried to take it easy. We got up pretty early (as parents of little ones, even though we're tired the day always starts early!) and had breakfast with MeMere and PePere then later that afternoon we went to their favorite dinning spot...McDonald's. Sam was happy to go and especially when he saw the great play area. After lunch we went to get baby food for Aubrey then hit a local park to let the little ones run/crawl around for a bit.

Our vacation to Florida: 1st day

We left for Florida on Feb. 8th, our flight was in the evening so we didn't arrive to Florida until close to 10 pm...that's a long night with two little ones! After our arrival at the St. Augustine Airport we still had to drive another 2 1/2 hours to get to MeMere and PePere's house in Tavares.
