Happy 3rd Birthday Samuel Robert!!

Hard to believe my baby boy is three years old today. I just wanted to share a quick funny story. As we were getting ready for bed tonight I was talking to Sam and told him that three years ago today Mommy went to the hospital and gave birth to him. I also told him that he used to live in my belly...well, I'm not quite sure I've ever heard him laugh so hard and giggle so much!! He just thought this was the funniest story I've ever told. Needless to say, I don't think he believes me!

During the party all that was eaten were the cupcakes...so we still have those 3 big beautiful cakes to eat! That night we dug into the cookie monster cake...the kids were blue all over.

I got to open a lot of presents that day. It's very hard to keep a one year old and an almost 3 year old on track. Sam opened up a car right away so he figured he was all done opening presents....Aubrey on the other hand just wanted to get up and walk away...so at times I was left all alone to open up gifts! Oh well...maybe next year will be daddy's turn!

Aubrey was lucky to spend a lot of time being chased around by family and friends...especially her Great Aunt Ann.

Happy Birthday Aubrey Jeanne!

My sweet baby girl is ONE today...hard to believe a full year has passed. I am in awe of how much I adore this precious little one. Her laughter and smiles bring joy to my days and even though she drives me crazy at times she still lights up my world. I thank God everyday for her life and her health and I feel so blessed that I get to be her mommy. It was only a year ago that I lay in a hospital bed getting to know the newest addition to our family. She certainly changed our lives and turned our world up side down...in a good way. I am SO BLESSED!!

Sam, my handsome guy, finally stood still long enough to get a cute picture of him! And Aubrey...her face is healing up pretty well...and she actually wore a hat for awhile today, pretty amazing!

I just have to say Aubrey is one rough and tumble little girl! She is going to be my trouble maker for sure! We were outside playing this morning after our walk and she decided to climb up onto Sam's bike (just a small tricycle) and she ended up going over the handlebars and landed on her face...poor thing got quite a scrape! I think we may wrap her in bubble wrap!!
